It is with profound sadness that the Burma Canadian Association of Ontario (BCAO) announces the passing of our long-time friend, colleague, and respected Executive Committee member, Dr. Khin Maung Htay, who passed away on August 9, 2026, in Toronto.
Dr. Khin Maung Htay was a valued and dedicated member of the Burma Canadian Association of Ontario for many years. His active involvement, commitment, and contributions to our community will always be remembered and deeply appreciated. He will be greatly missed by his friends, colleagues, and the entire BCAO community.
He was a beloved husband to Dr. Daw Khin Than Wai and a loving father to Bryan. We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this very difficult time. On behalf of the Executive Committee and members of BCAO, we offer our sincere condolences to the family. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you, and we stand with you in this time of sorrow.
